The sweetest sound

                                                                    Courtesy

A child’s laugh
Dulcet
Tinkles like a wind chime

Unforced
Unbridled
Their laughter sings

Eyes half closed
With pure joy
A splendid moon-face

Sweet
Familiar
For it knows no pretense.

Laugh…
Laugh with the world
There is nothing more contagious.

  1. I love the sound of children's giggles. You're so right. They don't have a need to pretend at all. They giggle or belly laugh because something is funny not because they want to please or fool anyone. It's such an infectious laugh too, never fails to make me smile :)
    Loved this!
