Ahh ... this touched my heart Vaishali ... you painted a beautiful picture of love between siblings, and the loss they experienced together as well ... very sad :-(
subtle and intense. this haiku is amazing actually, the prompt perfectly used. they are devastated, and yet the elder one knew it was already time to rebuild. Lovely. Beauty, Glory, Joy, Pain & Fortitude.
I pictured a young girl with flowing wavy hair, dry throat singing to her baby brother with broken voice as she consoles him - sad but beautiful.
